Center section also supposed to be grey - these pics are from the first evaluation just to make sure it didn't come loose in higher speeds.

Still static
Supposed to be pneumatically actuated, but for now it's fixed. So many projects - so little time...

DRS-wing 🙂
For many years, I've been thinking about combining the stock spoiler with a moveable center section. Mostly being a gimmick, but it should decrease drag in higher speeds too. And it looks cool.
Did I say it looks cool?

Really had a challenge with this door, here's the profile from the front fender is being transferred over to the door.

Restored grilles. Some previous owner was serious about tightening them down. All mounting points cracked...

Primer and some clear coat on top of the door before mold work starts. Yes, I see the highspots. Yes, I settled for 90% finish this time... 🙂

This door has won quite a few battles. It has one hole that looks like a gun hole, patched with a piece of steel and some led - no weld. Entire door was also pushed in appr 1,5" in the middle. straighened here and there, but far far far from perfect. It'll receive a new skin, so it has just been straightened with bondo. Lots of bondo.

Mold came out a lot better than I imagined. First time, so I settled for 90% but this feels more like 99%...

Final design of my trans am inspired scoop. About 1" higher than stock and appr. 3" longer. Made it as big as possible to enable evacuation as much air as possible

Protrudes slightly more than the original Trans Am-duct, plus a small gurney finishing it off to build that low pressure zone behind.

Got some cooling issues during idle and with hood open it was very obvious that it disappeared. Desperately need some air evacuation to get rid of hot under hood-air.

Sometimes I look at pictures of this car and ask myself - wow, is that really my car?
The stance, the reworked wheel housings, the lights, everything.
And I just filled it up with almost 100L 98 octane (for about 200 USD!)

There's no reason not to lift the hood at local meets. It's usually the only car missing a paint job and a proper interior, so atleast the engine compartment should be shown...

Oops... Knew it was gonna happen sooner or later. The Carbon Fibre shifter was a little to small diameter and was broken where aluminum sleeve meets CF.
